Being single means that you don’t have to depend on anyone else to make decisions about your life. If you’re single, you get to decide what you want to do, where you want to go, how you want to live, etc. There’s no one telling you what to do, and if something doesn’t work out, you don’t have to worry about someone else being upset with you.

When you’re married, you have someone who takes care of you financially, emotionally, and physically. When you’re single, you have to take care of yourself. You need to pay bills, buy groceries, cook meals, clean the house, etc. You don’t have to worry if you’ll ever find a job or not, because you’re responsible for yourself.
You Can Be Your Own Person
If you’re married, you may feel pressured to act a certain way, follow a certain set of rules, and behave in a certain manner. But if you’re single, you can be whoever you want to be. You can dress however you want, wear whatever you want, say whatever you want, and do whatever you want. You can even date whomever you want.
You Don’t Need Someone Else’s Approval
You don’t have to ask permission from anyone to do anything. If you want to go out with friends, you just go. If you want to move somewhere, you just pack your bags and leave. If you want to start a business, you just do it. If you want to change jobs, you just quit your current one. And if you want to date someone, you just go ahead and do it.
You Get To Make Decisions
Married people often feel like they have to do things their spouse wants them to do. They have to listen to what their partner says, and they have to obey. But if you’re married, you don’t have much choice in the matter. You have to do what your spouse tells you to do. If you don’t, then you could lose your marriage.
You Don’t Have To Worry About What People Think
If you’re married and someone sees you doing something wrong, they might think less of you. They might tell others that you’re bad, or that you’re stupid, or that you’re a terrible person. But if you’re unmarried, nobody cares what you do. Nobody thinks less of you, and nobody judges you.
You Don’t Have Anyone Who Will Leave You
If you’re married to someone, you know that they will never leave you. Even if they cheat on you, they still love you and won’t leave you. But if you’re alone, you can always leave. You can walk away whenever you want.
